For all film work, as the professionals amongst you well know, prep work is key to the smooth runnings of any production. Therefore quite a bit of my job happens even before the precise schedule for shooting is set.

On location in a studio setting 90% of my job is done before others start theirs. Therefore, after pre-lighting is done, I like to shift over to lay hands on cranes, dollies and likewise equipment to use my know-how operating those.
